Osteoarthritis?

Hi all,

Newbie here. I haven't been officially diagnosed with osteoarthritis however, was told I had hallux rigidus in my big toe joints, they were slowing fusing. After years of complaining and ultimately struggling with my knee and groin, I persued to be seen as my mental health was deteriorating again. I ended up have a double debridement of the joints (3years ago) and it was the best decision ever.

I have since had a massive flare up of my sacroiliac joint which, started nearly 20 years ago. This is the worst its ever been and it has been pretty good over the years. I am worried that I have osteoarthritis in my sacroiliac joint however, no one wants to investigate... ive been told its not a disc issue and i've pulled or strained it. I am now on naproxen after the 3rd time of stating I cannot move properly... it's been amazing but is it worth pursuing for investigation?

I hope everyone is staying well and the cold damp weather is behaving for you all. X thanks

Sometimes @topcat78 we have to be rather assertive with our Drs. They are gatekeepers of services which could help like X-rays and MRIs and really you (and they actually) need to know what is going on inside you!

My advice is to take someone with you when you see the Dr. Less likely to be fobbed off then.

    Best of luck.
