Pregabalin
Is Pregabalin good for arthritis, and does it have any side effects, which could affect nerves? Having trouble with my foot and both knees, so much so, it is getting more difficult to walk.

Hello Fred1e,
I haven't taken it myself but I have had several friends who have had good relief from it for their arthritis (knees/hips). In the case of my sister, following her hip replacement she was taken off it but far too quickly (it needs to be tapered off and she was just told to stop taking it) so she experienced sudden panic attacks that she found very frightening. On looking it up, it should be very gradually reduced especially if it's been taken for a longer period of time and then the withdrawal effects are manageable. All the best in finding suitable pain relief, it's so important for maintaining mobility.
