I had an initial OA diagnosis in January but return when it seemed to be progressing especially quickly. As a music teacher having this in my wrists and fingers is obviously an extra hassle. Anyway, I had blood tests last month and only one inflammatory marker was very slightly high but I then got asked to make another appointment and that was today.

Cross lines, it appears. My GP phoned me the DAY AFTER the tests to explain the results but I then got asked by reception to make another appointment a couple of days later. I now realised it was supposed to be just that one conversation and they were actually too efficient!

This doctor was happy to spend the time talking through my concerns though, even if her extra sympathy because of my job just made me feel more depressed.

At least I know for certain now.

@WillowWhimsy yes, it's a challenge when it affects hand(s) - wrist(s) & fingers and one works in the Arts.

Here philosophical helps: do not get stocked missing what one had but focus on what one has in any given now.
