Estrogen and Osteoarthritis arthritis
I have prostate cancer, and was given hormone treatment which eliminates testosterone which lowered my estrogen. This caused a really bad arthritis flare up in my hands, and wrist.I stopped the treatment, and now 6 months later as my testosterone has returned to normal levels along with my estrogen. My arthritis is now very minor in my hands, an wrist. Sure would have been nice if the doctor had talked to me about this before I started the treatment.
I also have used acupuncture for years which has minimized my pain, and growth in my feet, hands, and shoulder.

Hi @robsandiego
Welcome to the versus arthritis forum and for sharing your experiences during the course of your treatment. As you say, it would have been nice to have been forewarned of the symptoms.
I note that the arthritis in your hands is now minor but just in case these exercises may be useful:
I wish you well with any ongoing prostrate cancer treatment.
Kind regards
