Trapeziectomy with LRTI post surgery 18 months
Hello all,
I had the above surgery 18 months ago on my right hand. I'm scheduled to do the left in 2 weeks. For some reason about a week or so ago my right hand right inside where the bone used to be started hurting. I still work and can't be without a hand. I'm older and have a special needs dog and besides the ride to and back from surgery I'm on my own.
I've gone online and checked on this and supposedly there should be no pain. I haven't spoken yet to the surgeon about this. Has anyone else experienced this and did you find a fix for it?
Thank you for reading.

HI @resonnant
As someone who had a trapeziectomy with LRTI back in 2020 I can associate with your situation.
It would be quicker for you, at this point, to raise it with your surgeon when you see him. He wouldn't be able to do anything there and then but he will advise.
I am also experiencing pain in the same hand as I had surgery on and have seen the surgeon. There are three joints, all together, which can go at different times, as mine has. I have had an injection in it and surgeon will see me again in about 4 months.
