Thanks for messaging me back yeah I'm on parocetmol and codeine and started some treatment for rheumatoid arthritis I'm starting to feel better but I still have some bad days as you would expect I've been on medication for about 4 weeks

Hello Jojo, I am a long term rheumatoid arthritis patient. Over the years with the support from my gp, hospital & taking medication I have continued to manage the condition. I personally find eating regular nutrious meals, some gentle exercise ( only when I am able to) & resting are also a large part of managing the condition. I find the information supplied by Versus Arthritis very helpful. Rheumatoid arthritis is a horrible condition. I hope that you will continue to improve & eventually will have more good days.

Hi thanks for replying I'm better than I was before starting the tablets I've not had a fall for a few weeks thankfully it was getting to the stage where I hardly dared walk and I have kids to look after and physical job so I'm always quite busy I hope you are keeping well?

Hi a quick question does anyone suffer with dryness in thier eyes with rheumatoid my eyes are burning and stinging a lot and clouding over and quite crusty I'm just checking if anyone else has similar symptoms

Hi @Jojo_16,
Dry eyes can be a symptom of rheumatoid arthritis or it could be due to something else, so it’s worth talking to your GP or rheumatologist about it. I’ve got RA and developed dry, gritty eyes for which I am prescribed lubricant eye drops. They have really made a difference.

Hi thanks for the advice I spoke to the doctor before and he said it was probably the rheumatoid arthritis I've started some eye drops that I brought so hopefully it will work.
