any advice in type of static bike - i.e. more upright, or racer bike style? I have had a trial on a friend’s racer type but felt it pushed ny knees into a very tight bend. Also, I am 5’2 and felt this particular bike was aimed at someone taller.

    Good Morning @ElaineGr

Personally I find the sit up and beg type better for my back, but everyone is different it depends where you pain is. As you say it has to be right for your own individual leg length so if there are adjustable ones maybe?

It will be interesting to see what replies you get to your post.

    Best of luck

    Ellen.

I'd go sit up and beg too my back hates me leaning forwards. I am also 5' 2" so get the height issue.

I have an electric bike which I love the seat is as low as possible for me which helps a lot.

Sometimes though my wrists do complain if i am out too long think I can lean on them too much.

    Hope you love your bike

The static bike I have tried is adjustable but not to be a small enough frame for me, sadly. I think the sit up and beg style would suit me better. Interested to hear of any other views though !
