Hi, I'm new here.

My consultant presently has me diagnosed with atypical inflammatory arthritis. Rheumi and gastro (I also have ulcerative colitis) have me on 15mg rinvoq a day and 25mg methotrexate a week. Meth since sept '23 and rinvoq for 8 weeks now - i think its starting to work. My gp has prescribed 3x3 nefopam a day as painkiller, for around 6 months. If I'm late with the nefopam, both pain and stiffness return. Is this normal, for painkiller to reduce stiffness associated with arthritis? Thanks

Morning @hwillows and welcome to the online community.

Sorry to hear your concerns about new diagnosis and treatments.

I would contact your GP/Consultant to discuss your side effects as everyone is different.

However, I am sure others will connect with you soon.

    Best wishes @Naomi33
