Arthritis in my ankle
I got arthritis in my ankle, it flares up making it impossible to walk. I need to go into the office at least three days a week. Work are ok at the moment about me not meeting this but I feel they will take disciplinary action soon. I am currently seeing an orthopedic and he wants to monitor it. He says if it keeps flaring up he will inject it and if that does work I may need a fusion. I am looking for advice how to stop it flaring up.

Hello @richard10012 and welcome to the Community. We're all very friendly and very experienced in many aspects of arthritis!
Our website is a mine of information so do look at it. There is a lot of information on ankle pain; pain management and exercise. This may be of interest but do search the site.
Also, keep checking back here for responses from our members.
Please keep posting now you are here and let us know how you are getting on.
I am not an expert on employment but I know from my own experience that you should not be disciplined for illness. Maybe you should speak to your employers and get a sickness certificate from your GP if necessary
Best wishes
Mary
