Update
I haven’t posted in quite some time, I had no real news. The last time I posted was not long after I had the injection into my knee in September and I could feel no difference, I still feel it didn’t work for me and the consultant did warn that it doesn’t work for everyone,
However - the consultant told me to take glucosamine and I have really persevered with it, tablets at first which were so difficult to take as they were so large, but now I take liquid glucosamine. Also, in my local chemist, they recommended a gel called Glucosamine Complex with Aloe Vera, Devil’s Claw and MSM and I’m finding it really good. I rub some in at bedtime and am not woken up by pain. So the combination of oral and topical glucosamine really seems to have stabilised the knee. I’m aware of the arthritis but it is very much better. I also do a mobility class twice a week which includes knee exercise. Long may it last!

Hu @Socialdancer Glad to see things are improving. I might give that gel a try!
