Appointments to see rheumatology.
Hi there,
I got diagnosed with RA early 2021 and was put on Hydroxychloraquine which seems to be doing a good job. I have had various little issues throughout that time, several trigger fingers/thumb and sometimes my wrists ache a little at the end of the day but nothing too major.
I was wondering though how often rheumatology send for you for a checkup as my last appointment was in 2022 and I've not heard anything since. My concern is about the Hydroxychloraquine as I believe that they can affect your eyes after a while and wonder if I should be having any checks as it will be 4 years now since I started taking them ?
Best regards,
Meli

MORNING @Meli
I suggest you contact your rheumatology team and ask for an appt looks like they are either very busy (likely) or even that you have got lost in the system.
You can go ahead and make an appointment with your optician to have your eyes checked and should do that regularly. Rheumatology don't do eye tests.
Best of luck
Ellen.
