Lumbar osteoarthritis
hi I am a new member and for my first post I would just like to say hi π
I have been recently been diagnosed with lumbar osteoarthritis and I am still learning about this. Does anyone have any pain relief methods please π

Hi joyful, I also have osteoarthritis that started in my lumbar spine when I was in my early 20's. I use a lot of heat on it and always try to keep my back warm when I'm out during the colder weather. I have a large plug-in heat pad which is really good as it's even safer to lie on. As I also have fibromyalgia and scoliosis I take Tramadol and use paracetamol as a painkiller boost (it seems to help the Tramadol). I get para-spinal muscle spasms down both sides of my spine which are absolutely horrendous - I take 25mg of amitriptyline each day to help with those. Hope this helps x
