Hello I’m new here and wondering if anyone has suffered nausea after weekly injection.

Started Tocilizumab back in July 2024 and was absolutely fine until November now suffering nausea, any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Hello @Sheptonlush welcome to the online community

You are suffering with nausea after your weekly Tocilizumab injection and are wondering if anyone has any tips about this. Have you talked to your medical team about it? There are various stomach protection drugs which might be prescribed by your GP or recommended by your local pharmacist.

I hope some of our members who have experience of this biologic therapy can share their tips with you and meanwhile I attach a link for your interest

  • Hi Poppyjane thanks for your reply, spoken to doctor who thought it was a side effect of Tocilizumab but Rheumatology consultation says no. I must admit it was pretty severe over Christmas but seems to be calming down now.
