Pseudogout and sleepless nights

Hi. After 6 months of chronic pain and very little sleep I have been diagnosed with knee arthritis and pseudogout. I can cope with the pain in the day but the pain at night keeps me awake for many hours. I am currently on Colchicine for pseudogout, have had acupuncture and using a tens machine. Nothing seems to help with the night pain and would really appreciate any advice on how to live with it. Thankyou.

    Hi @Jacks29

Sorry to hear about the pain and the sleepless nights. I would suggest you discuss with your GP.

I note that you haven't had any replies yet but if you search for sleepless in recent posts (use the magnifying glass towards top right of screen) you will find quite a few discussions that may include information that helps.

    Best wishes

    Mary
