    Hi @Isaac

I have created a new thread for you regarding this topic as the one you had commented on was about a different medication. I used to take Methotrexate and was always told if I was unwell or had an infection that I shouldn't take it until everything had cleared up. I am assuming you have been taking your MTX whilst being unwell, which will be lowering your immune system and therefore not helping you get over your cold. I would contact your GP, they will probably advise you to hold off until your cold has cleared up.

Hope this helps and get well soon, Claudia x

I had to stop MTX it scarred my lungs further, and have had a year with no treatment waiting for Biologic decisions, funding, delivery and now nurses. They have to keep upping the steroids treatment to compensate.

Hi. I am on MTX and sometimes can get coldie symptoms for a day or two. However, if you have a cold and keep taking your MTX it will be harder to get over it. If I get a bad cold my consultant advised that I skip a week of my injection so my immune is not as supressed
