Sleeping with fused wrists
Im 39 ,
this might sound stupid but does anyone else struggle with sharing a bed and having fused wrists . Mines fused by themselves a while ago I still get mild pain and then frustration that they don’t bend and I have to talk myself through. Trying to get comfortable sharing a bed is causing me anxiety

Good morning @siobhan40 welcome to the online community.
I do totally see your issue! My wrists are not fused, but I do wear night splints and that gives the same issue - long arms in the way. No-one has ever to my knowledge mentioned this problem before you are a first, but surely it exists!
Perhaps you are in a fairly new relationship? If so you might feel a bit uncomfortable about it but I really suspect your partner is just glad to have you there. Have you asked the question?
I do tend to sleep a distance over (we have also got a larger bed than average if that helps) so I don't bash my partner in my sleep.
I hope you get some replies to your post I will be very interested to read them.
Best wishes
Ellen.
