Morning @sally_anne57 and welcome to the online community.
Sorry to hear your concerns about OA in knee.
I joined the following pain management courses…..
Everyone is different but I found exercise helped me.
I was in pain either way so pushed through and do a weekly walk now and think the benefits out way the pain.
Best wishes @Naomi33

Hi @sally_anne57.
You're bang on the money with the ice packs and the advice on elasticated knee support is also helpful to provide some support, particularly when exercising. Not all are equal, I'd recommend a visit to a good independent pharmacy which usually stock a good range and have a consultation room where you can try different ones out for fit and comfort.
For stiffness, it'll be movement and heat which will help with that. Like me, I imagine you're stiffest first thing in the morning so having a potter around at home helps to loosen things up, then a hot bath or shower. For any episodes try a heated wheatbag and you can alternate with the ice as well.
Hope this helps!
