I've been on amgevita for over a year now and it has made a big difference. Giving yourself an injection every 2 weeks is a small price to pay for the improvement. I hope your experience is just as positive.

Don't be afraid. Of course, the first few times it may cause some anxiety, but it gets easier, plus the benefits are great.

Biologics have made significant difference in my journey - roughly 8years since the first dose. Helped me stop using crutches and pain subsided dramatically. My prescription is currently Imraldi but I've had to move to from every two weeks to weekly.

There's some potential it's not being as effective so may be changed in future.

Good luck with the new treatment

    Hi @Vicz007_,

Welcome to the online community! We hope that you feel comfortable in our community and we are happy to have you!

I have been on biologics for nearly a year and it was the best choice to go on them as it has improved my condition a lot over the year.

I understand it is scary, it took me a while to get used to the injections/infusions but it really is worth it once you figure out the best way for you.

I hope you find them as effective as myself and others on here, please keep us updated with your journey!

    from, Olivia :)

    Hello @Vicz007_

I started the biologic Yuflyma just before Christmas (I also inject Methotrexate every week) and it is beginning to make a difference, although it's early days yet. I hate the thought of these powerful drugs being pumped into my body but they do reduce the pain, etc. of R.A. so it's definitely worth it. Don't worry! There are a lot of folk on biologics these days because they work well in most cases. Best wishes.
