Newbie living with Ankylosing Spondylitis.
Hi,
Wanted to drop a message to introduce myself and connect out with the community.
I was given a formal diagnosis of AS 15years ago following several years of back and forth with Dr's, and taking strong opioid painkillers and NSAIDS. Eventually, after 2years walking with crutches, I tested positive for HLAB-27 and other treatments were tried and the one that has been most effective is Biologics.
However, recently it feels like I've been in and out of flare up since the start of the year, and it's playing havoc.
Sorry for the long post. But it's currently midnight and sleep is playing hard to get.
Best, Lee J

Hello @LeeJ908,
Welcome to the online community its great to see you posting and sharing!
Sorry to hear that you are struggling with flare ups, thank you for sharing with us.
I have linked some information about AS and how to manage these flare ups. I hope they are of some use to you.
You may also find that the weather since the beginning of the year has been aggravating your condition, so make sure to stay warm until temperatures start to rise.
I hope this helps you and please keep us updated,
Olivia :))
