I realise this isn't a direct response to your question but I would say that we each experience different things, for me yes I can get it bad in one hand, even though I have it in both.

@Mush I don;t think so. Although one joint might be injured and painful for a while, and require special nursing. In fact I treat every joint differently, but if your thinking all the other joints will be perfectly ok, with no sign of arthritis, I bet they won't be.
