Travel with Amgevita
Hi
I’ve not posted on here for many years but am glad to see there is a lot of support out there.
I am back on anti TNF meds after a break. Before I started, I booked a 3.5 week, multi-destination trip to south east Asia. I am not confident about constant power (well there won’t be) and I need to keep my Amgevita between 2-8 degrees for at least the first 10 days. After that it’ll need to be below 25 degrees in equatorial heat.
I’ve looked on the forum and seen that lifeinabox was recommended. It is pretty pricey and can only be left unplugged for 6 hours. I’ve also found a company called 4AllFamily selling the Voyager travel fridge but again, it is really expensive.
I think having the option of USB and cool gel/pack would be best to give me more options. I am willing to shell out if I have to as I think I will use it more than once. But, does anyone have any experience with either of these products? Or can they recommend anything else? It would be nice to feel reasonably confident before spending a lot of money.
I’ve seen other questions posted but could not find any real answers (could be my poor search skills).
I’d be really grateful for any help/suggestions.

Welcome back @rb1234
It sounds like a marvellous holiday.
I wondered if your local pharmacist has any advice?
I hope you get some useful feedback from the community.
Best wishes

Thank you.
Sadly no advice from the local pharmacy. I have asked my rheumatology nurse but she did not know. She said she will see if she can find anything out.
