Hi all. I’m a newbie ish, methotrexate ramped up to 25mg since starting in October. I’m seropositive with strongly positive anti Ccp but no idea how bad that is other than RA is more persistent!. Not convinced methotrexate doing much but I’m having a real bad time with burning sensation in lower back , hips and I to groin. So much so I’ve booked in to see an osteopath today as I’m desperate, I can’t get to sleep. I’ve had bursts of this before and I’m feeling almost linked to flares but as I’m new I don’t really know. If it’s bursitis can it be dealt with once and for all ? Anyone had any experience of this misery ! Always been really active but aged 20 years since diagnosis 🥹. Thanks in advance

Hello @HappyD34 sounds like a good idea booking to see an osteopath as they will likely be able to advise you as to what it is. Can't answer your question directly except my wife had bursitis in her shoulder and went for injections and it helped her, so fingers crossed you can get a diagnosis and treatment.

thank you, turns out it’s just tight muscles and nerve endings causing the discomfort, cheerio
