Adalimubab- Biologics
Hi,
Had my second injection yesterday and started again with upset stomach, cramps and nausea ….. does this happen after every injection?
Also does anyone have any experience of itchy skin on this particular biologic?
Any advice appreciated 😉

hi there
I do have a slight nausea feeling and possibly itchy skin. I get cramp in my feet if that’s what you mean, but no gastro issues.
Is there a Rheumatology advice line at your local hospital. Speaking to a Rheumatology Nurse might help?
I hope it improves for you soon.0 -
I was started on this recently and got such a bad reaction. Extremely dizzy and heart racing. Scared me. Tried again after 2 weeks and same reaction. I couldn't take it. I am on methotrexate

Hi @ClairyB4
Here's a link to more information on this drug which might be useful to you -
Adalimumab | Side-effects, uses, time to work
I would contact your rheumatologist for advice on this, just in case there is a chance you might be taking a reaction to the medication.
All the best, Claudia x
