Has anyone been successful in being awarded attendance allowance because of oesteoarthritis?

    If its bad enough you should be, filled out the form for someone else depends how bad it is and how it effects you

    Hi @Barbs1 - it's definitely worth a try! I believe you have to be age 65+ to claim this benefit.

    It is certainly worth applying to Attendance Allowance, try to get assistance with the form from your local welfare advice service or citizens advice. Many people with arthritis claim this benefit. Award is based on how your condition impacts you. Age UK have a guide to this benefit which may be of help.
