Feet with Arthritis
My Mum has terrible trouble with her feet. Any advice?

Hello @PatriciaClark welcome to the online community
Thank you for the photo of your foot, I can see that it is affected by osteoarthritis which is causing the big toe to be swollen and distorted. We are not able to give medical advice , however your GP or a physiotherapist or podiatrist will be able to assess it and advise you about pain relief and the possible treatments available.
Meanwhile I attach some links which I hope you will find helpful.
Some of our members use heat pads that you can warm in a microwave or hot water bottles to help ease pain, or soaking in a bowl of warm water can bring relief. I hope some of these suggestions help , do please get back to us with any more queries.

Thanks for your reply I've had a bunion since I was a teenager and a hammer toe next to it. The others are bent to the ground. I have a swelling below my ankle bone.
