Knee osteoarthritis

I have recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my knee. The calf muscle on the same leg has become swollen, with a painful ache. My local hospital ran tests and found nothing out of the ordinary. Medical staff believe that there is a strain on my calf muscle due to the osteoarthritis in my knee. I just wondered if this is a familiar thing with members on the forum.
