Walking after physio
Hello! I'm new here so this is my first post. I had a physio exam today for arthritis in my knee and hip. Afterwards I was in such knee pain I couldn't walk properly and had to wait an hour before leaving the hospital. I could drive fine but I am still struggling to walk tonight. Does this seem normal please? If no better tomorrow, should I speak to the physio? Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Welcome @Birdangel to the community
We are here to offer you support, friendship and information. Sorry to read that the physio examination has provoked more pain in your knee. Numbers of us use heat and cool pads to give pain relief. If the pain persist we would suggest you ask advice from your GP, local pharmacist or phone the hospital physio department.
The natural reaction is to rest a painful joint but one also has to exercise it to keep flexibility and mobility and it will take time to get the right balance. So do let us know how you get on and if we can help in any other way.
Best wishes
Poppyjane
