Hello, I wonder whether anyone can help. My wife as arthritis in her fingers and as a result, she cannot wear her wedding ring any more. She has to have it on a necklace, not ideal and I would like to find an adjustable gold ring that she can wear. Has anyone come across this please. Not the biggest issue I know, but it means a lot to her. Thanks. Tony

I had my wedding ring enlarged by a local jeweller - some years ago now but it was no more expensive than buying a new ring. It also meant retaining the original gold which was part of a family heirloom so of sentimental value.

My fingers haven't increased much in girth since then but I just leave the ring off if a flare-up affects them.

You can ask for a quote before committing to the adjustment.
