I have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis all over my body, daily tasks are getting harder. If i am lucky i get 4 hours sleep, but it takes me at least 2 hours to fall asleep. I have a prolapse bladder as well so when I need to go i struggle to get up quickly. My mental health is really suffering at the moment, I find motivating myself really difficult.

I don't have fibromyalgia @Pandaeyes56 but have a friend who does so I know how debilitating it is😕

Getting enough sleep is so important to get us through the next day. My own arthritis can cause me trouble sleeping too and i have tried everything from amitriptyline to meditations. The amitrip worked very well actually, but I needed to take a medication for something else and it clashed with it.

My current plans is first of all to take pain relief before bed (1/2 hour before) then get those pillows in the right place (sometimes I need a warm wheatbag positioned carefully too). Then I read my kindle (easy reading those cosy mysteries work for me) until I drop off which i do quicker than I'd have expected. Only issue is sometimes the kindle falls on me when I drop off!

Have you thought about having something like (sorry if this sounds gross) a commode by your bed to enable a fast wee in the night?

Sorry if none of this helps, but hope you feel a bit batter knowing we care
