Alternative treatment/suggestions please

Hello 1st post for me,

Having reached the age of 67 I am experiencing arthritis particularly in my right knee.

As fellow sufferers will testify it’s blinking painful with limited mobility atm.

My GP has scheduled steroid injection for end of may plus I’m using 10% ibuprofen gel prescribed to me.

My question is…any recommendations/suggestions on any other effective topical treatments which are available OTC?

Welcome to the forum, it's great to have you here with us.

I sometimes use a 'deep freeze' gel. It's also comes as a spray or roll on. Not sure if it can be used at the same time as the ibuprofen gel. Your pharmacist would know!

Like you I am OA suffer in the right knee, had 3 steroid injections, ibuleve gel, pills, Deepheat patches & now moved onto wormwood patches & co codamol. U may want join others in Val's Cafe who have the similar problems.
