Mid foot arthritis + osteoarthritis in feet. Does anyone have FitFlop trainers?

I'm finding walking painful, particularly when I've been on my feet for a while - mid foot arthritis and also osteoarthritis in other parts of my feet. I ordered some FitFlop trainers. A friend - who doesn't have arthritis - told me how comfortable they are. However, they've just arrived and the inner soles feel very hard to me. Just wondered if anyone else has bought them and can tell me what they think about suitability for arthritic feet like mine.

Hello @Megrose489 I guess shoes are a personal comfort thing - what is good for some is not for others. Maybe you just need to try them.

I bought a few pairs after diagnosed with big toe arthritis. I didn't find them too bad, and you can remove the insoles for others. But recently had both toes fused so they are too narrow at the moment. You have all my sympathy. I've been struggling with shoes for ages now, ordering, returning. Flaming nightmare and many tears. It's so difficult with online stuff. I'm sick of my feet!

I found Clarks Cloudsteppers good. Soft insoles.

Thank you all for your help. I've received the Fitflops so will give them a go for now. Still time to return them if necessary. You're right, Daisy15, it is a flaming nightmare!

Oh the disappointment fred! I LONG for the days when I just put on a pair of shoes to go out without it causing major stress.
