Chondrocalcinosis.
Edit: identical post removed
hi. I’ve been living with arthritis for over 20 years. Both hips replaced and a flat neck on one side. Recently I’ve been diagnosed with chonedrocalcinosis in both knees. Painful condition. Besides the mental trauma I was wondering if anyone else has had any positive experience with this condition. What helps? Wha does the future hold with this condition? Does this mean total knee replacements to resolve the problem?
it seems to be getting worse. Anyone further down the road as regards treatment?
many thanks
Remo.

Hello @Remo
I don't have any knowledge / experience of chondrocalcinosis myself. Have you been given any idea of treatment / management at all?
This is worth a read (with regard to mental health)
, and also this (there are some links to breathing exercises etc ) .Hopefully there will be someone on the forum reply to you but in the mean time I did a key word search of the disscussions here and this is a list of conversations/posts about chondrocalcinosis on the forum, which might interest you.
.All the best Joanne
