injections
My dependence on crutches started within one hour of an ultra-sound guided injection at Charing Cross Hospital, in London.
Is it unusual for a patientl to pick up a supposed box of Hyaluronic Acid from an outpatient clinic, and then give it to a doctor in ultra-sound to inject it into one?
I'm cynical of doctors, especially ones in hospitals, and suspect that a corrosive substance was injected into my hip hastening the need for a total hip replacement (THR). Essentially I believe that I was used as a guinea - pig by these doctors at Charing Cross Hospital, in London.
Someone please try, and alleviate my fears please!
Big Steve.

Hi @Bigsteve I myself have collected my own steroid for injection from the pharmacy and taken it to the Dr who injected my hip. This was some 20 years ago, but yes it did happen.
Has no-one explained to you why the sudden deterioration in your hip since that injection you had?
Ellen.

Hope you are doing OK now and that the increased pain and stiffness was just a short-term side effect of the injection, which is not uncommon.
There are incredibly strict controls on trials and they always require patient consent, so it is extremely unlikely you were being used as a guinea pig against your knowledge at an NHS hospital.
