Newby just reaching out!
Howdy peeps, Mikky here, just been diagnosed with OA of the right ankle last week.
Just reaching out to people/clubs/communities in the Scotland (North East) area.
New to all this and want to know much more about this condition, what can be done to alleviate the pain, and what I can do on a personal level with regards to exercising, comfortable foot wear, medication and lots more, I have an abundance of questions at my fingertips!
Thank you for your time! Mikky.

Thank you for your prompt reply as to my query Joanne!
Thank you also for the information you supplied, it was very helpful and I found out
that there is a chair based Yoga class near where I live, that's fantastic, and I'll give it a go soon!
I am still (slowly!!) finding my way around the site, this is due in part to my inexperience on how to use computers, I'm afraid I'm a tad ''computer illiterate''!!
Thank you so much for your help!! Mikky.

Hello
After years of a wordening ankle with oa I had an ankle fusion 18mths ago. After 6 months of healing I wonder why I waited so long before having the op.
Everyone is different and those 6 months of recovery were difficult at times but in hindsight I'm glad I had the op.
Now I'm recovering from a knee replacement, 7 weeks and counting
Good luck whatever your decision
Ian
