Collagen supplement query

Hi,

Bit of a random one: has anyone got any reviews or experience of using hydrolysed collagen powder as a supplement? I started adding this to my overnight oats a few days ago to help with menopause symptoms as I have read that it can help. Interestingly, though, my chronic OA knee pain and flexibility has improved significantly since starting this. Is this a coincidence or can the collagen really make this much of a difference? I have lost around 10kg of weight too but this has been gradual over the last few months and it just seems very sudden that the pain etc has eased, like yesterday I could suddenly walk up the stairs like a normal person instead of leading with my good leg and dragging myself up! I am in the NHS system of waiting lists to see an orthopaedic surgeon as my knee has been terrible despite pain meds, physio and joint injections so this sudden easing of pain and better flexibility is a bit of a shock after nearly a year of struggling.

If anyone has any info regarding this, I would be grateful.

Thanks

Hi. Been taking collagen in my porridge for the past 2 years. Not a clue if it’s helping but saw lots of good reviews on the Willpowders website. This is the brand I use. Think it could be helping with my skin as feels better than it used to. Not as wrinkly maybe🤣.
I’m of the opinion throw everything at the damn menopause. So I will continue with the collagen. I’ve just been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Psoriatic Arthritis so I’m hoping the collagen helps with that.

@KBU Pretty sure it does help, that’s why it’s packaged up with vit AC& E (glucosamine & chondroitin) key collagen building blocks… Boots has branded products and I noticed the fast improvement too.
