Arthrosomid kneeinjection.
Hi, I had an Arthrosomid injection in my left knee three weeks ago, at Benenden Hospital. The procedure itself as others have said was very quick and easy. I was being driven home four hours after arriving at the hospital and had walked across the car park with much less pain than before. I was given a set of exercises which I do most days, and am feeling the benefit.
So mostly walking, which was my biggest pre op problem, is much easier. I can also use my exercise bike with no pain. The only issue is that sometimes for no reason it suddenly starts to feel stiff again. But then an hour later it’s fine. Perhaps I need to be patient and let it keep improving.
I am 76 and had already had both hips replaced so my level of activity wasn’t great.

Hi @Brightsue
I'm glad you are feeling some benefits from your injection. I do believe it can take up to 12 weeks for the injection to reach its full effect so hopefully after another few weeks you will see a bigger improvement.
