    I think monthly is good, well it is for me I would include

    Research updates, new treatments, etc

    Advice on changes to benefits and how to claim them

    Where to join the group

    Local group news, as far as I'm aware there isn't a group near to me and I'm not allowed to drive

    Member of the month news/updates

    Not in any particular order
