Managing the pain of neck arthritis

I'm really struggling to get the pain under control after a recent diagnosis of ostearthritis in my neck. Am on amitryptilline (6 weeks) and have started physio but finding it hard to exercise because of the pain. Any advice gratefully received at this stage in my journey

Hello @LizMD I see from your post that you have been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis (OA) in your neck.

Have you had a chance to read this article? There is lots of information in there including types of pain relief, issues with posture etc:

I will not suggest reading our exercise information as you are doing physiotherapy at the moment.
