hot wrists

hi
my wrists are red hot and painful as my med not working shall i ask about a joint inject on this occasion left it for few weeks but getting no better and last night i bent it funny it cracked and now it feels really sore?? :)

    Hi Kezzo

    A steroid injection into the joint can be useful in reducing inflammation quickly. You can't have many of them into any one joint but it's certainly worth discussing with your GP. Sometimes it can be done in the GP's surgery if one of the doctors has had special training in this procedure otherwise it's done in the orthopaedic or rheumatology outpatients.
