ABBREVIATIONS Can you help please

Abbreviations can you long term members help us new members by listing all the abbreviations because I haven’t got a clue what some of you are talking about. I know.
RA
OA
MTX
SA or is it PA for psoriatic arthritis anyway ive got it. but a list with what it means would be so helpful to us new peeps there are some illnesses on hear I never hared about had to look them up on the net.

    RA is Rheumatoid Arthritis, OA Osteo Arthritis and MTX is the drug methotrexate. (also it's PA not SA). It's difficult at first trying to read and understand all the abbreviations! Good luck, Anita :)

    I agree with you abreviations and jargon do my head in, but I do it myself!! Sorry
    I still think MTX should be MXT though I know it's not right, but is so much easier to say!!!
    Only realised dx stands for (Ithink?!) diagnosed recentlt too!!

    You're not on your own Colin, blood test abbreviations are a mystery to me, apart from the odd one or two :?

    Didn't someone put up a post fairly recently because she thought we all had a relation called Arthur? :wink::lol::lol:
