I needed to buy a hairdryer stand as cannot hold the dryer anymore. The disability aids shops sell them for £25 to £30. Yet I have been able to order one from the e-bay shops at £10.99, including P&P.
To think these so called Disability or Enable shops are supposed to assist us to maintain our independence it appears that making money from people who can ill afford it is the main priority. Linda

Seems hard to disagree with you there, Linda.
Glad you found something suitable anyway!
All the best.

I was paying almost £15 a time for a long handled hairbrush that broke really easily in the same spot everytime, I spotted some on ebay emailed the lad, and he sold me a pile of them at under a fiver each, and can you believe it, I have only had to use one since I bought the box full, before I was going through one a fortnight, mind you I should stop scratching my feet and back with them, oh ...and hitting the kids.  lol0
