Hi all,

Well I phoned the health centre to be asked to be put on the doctors list to call me back as my feet had swollen up and the pain was shooting up my legs ( I was feeling awful) and also to tell her that the 400mg of temisc, could only be given at the 200mg dose as the manufactor was having trouble, the girl said that she would get the gp to call me back, well its Tuesday and no body phoned me :x :x :x :x :x now they say to let your gp if anything goes wrong ( thats a laugh) is it any wonder that I dont rush to my gp.

Hazel wants to tell them , why did they not call , I told her leave it if it gets worse I will let the hospital sort it out for me ( then when word gets back to my gp that the message was not given :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: I was given by my gp Movical to help at the torilet but it said if yo have a rection like swollen ankles then stop at once and tell your gp.

Thank you for letting me let of some steam here

    Hello,

    I'm sorry that you've been having problems with talking to your GP. My thouight is that either the message didn't get passed on, as the receptionist made a mistake or some confussion at the health centre caused the message to get lost or the doc to think he'd delt with it. Anyway, that does'nt help you, which is the importent thing. Phone them back, explain that they promised to phone back but didn't. I'm sure they'll phone and you can talk to your GP. Its important not to let it go - you need help. :? It makes you fed up, when people let you down and I hate waiting for a call to come and it does'nt. If the call dosen't come at towards the latest, but not too late, time you expect it, call them and ask if someone is going to ring, it'll jog their memory :| Hope you have better luck this time. :? Love Sue

    Hi Mike
    and happy new year to you hazel and Mike jnr,(have ben to scotland so haven't been on the forum).
    You should take advice urgently if you were told to speak to GP if you got swollen ankles!
    If you get no joy caould you at least ring NHS direct for a bit of advice? Or the pharmacist - usually helpful here.
    Take care and get those feet up :!: :wink:

    Hi toni, and a happy new year to all your family .

    I was at health centre today with hazel as she saw her gp. I went round to leave some medicine back when a girl from the treatment room stopped me and said we got your swab results from your toe back , hazels round there now so could you go round and a gp will look at you and your toe. so hazels gp came and looked at it and said god its badly infected you should have been on anti byotics and she said there is something else ( all I heared was trveons in his foot (a bit worried about that gp said) well I was :x :x :x as at the time when my own gp took off my toe nail two days later he looked at toe and told nurse it was healing well. Now the treatment room staff said I should have been given anti-byotics from the start. so hazels gp sorted out any problems I had and she is getting a district nurse out to dress my toe as I told her it was hard for me to get out to the health centre .

    I am very very :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    the only slight problem I am having is, I was put on tesmic 400mg but I can only get 200mg and they gave me one box of 50 tablets , going to have to double up as I take them 2x 3 times a day but its a minor prob.

    Hazel is on more painkillers and got a lot of blood taken, on a 24 hr urine test starting on Sunday.

    Take care all
