I'm in agony today. I had steriod injections in my knees yesterday it really hurt but i thought i'd be better now. The swellings went down but it's still sore where she put the huge needle in. and i feel really wobbly. Also i've been put on sulpalazine i'm a bit worried it won't agree with me as metotrexte and leflunomide didn't. The consultant was also worried about my iron levels as they are still dropping. I feel like things are spiralling out of control a bit i'm not in control where i like to be. I don't know if it's just me but my kids seem to playing up more then ever and i'm just not up to it. sorry for rant

i just wanted to say that i to have terrible pain in my knees, especially the left one, it swells up and is so stiff and sore and night times are bad i keep waking up due to pain and end up freezing as only comfy position is with the quilt between my knees, a pillow just isn't the same!
any way i had a steroid injection (ouch) in mine and although it took about a week to start working it did make a huge difference, but not for long.
i really hope you feel some affect very soon as i know how horrible it feels, especially with kids around, i find walking is agony, only a dose of oramorph gives me a bit of relief.
sorry, how depressing is my reply? not much help am i?!0
