    Hi Debs

Only just noticed this post. I asked my useless GP for this years ago but he refused. Told me it only worked on nerve damage so wouldn't help me. I don't believe him but!!!
If you manage to get some please let me know how you get on.

hi,i just asked the gp for some pain relieving gel & he suggesed cap cream.the instructions say, will feel hot or burning til u get used to it.
iv not had any burning sensation or relief so far.my skin is red hot on back all the time anyway. told gp deep heat doesnt work, cant feel that .im on a months trail before i see gp for repeat prescription.iv also tried glucosamine gel (cold gel keep in fridge)that didnt work.i'll let u know if i get any benefit from it in the nx couple of wks. the cap cream is only prescribed for o/a for the joints.
    hope thats some help.debs

    Hi
Have you ever tried Boswellia and Cammiphora cream from the skin shop? It seems to ease the pain but it stinks :) I've used lots of things that seem to work and then go off so maybe it's just wishful thinking or desperation. Someone has now told me to try Comfrey oil as she says it works for her.

    Hi Debs
Let me know if you get any relief from any of the creams/gels. It's real trial and error
