I keep hearing on the news that 'pensioners' are going to get cold weather payments in certain areas but I can't find out if that means all pensioners or perhaps only people on Pension Credit ???

Does anyone know?

I heard this on the news too. I was wondering where to find more information about it. The pensioner on the news was saying she needed her heating on to help her arthritis and a little voice in my head said me too! me too!

Hi, from what I can gather it is pensioners and disabled people on Income Support who get a Disabled Premeum ( not spelt right I know), I got £25 just before xmas, the weather has to be zero or below for 7 consecutive days before you get it, hope this helps Jaspercatxxx
