Hi Mike77, you asked what a meterology nurse does, well I see mine,in between seing the Rheumy, not sure exactly what it means,
but its every 3 mths, its because I'm on enbrel, she checks the blood results and measures my joints to see if I have swelling, then I have to move a slider on that card with the smiley face on it to show how bad ,or good, I'm feeling.I'm not too great at the moment had a really bad cough and cold, same as most people, thanks for asking, how are you three, hope this cold weather isn't causing you too much problem getting about.
xx

Hi Hazelm,
Thanking you for getting back to us with the answer, I was having a lot of problems over xmas with my toe as it was infected turning blue and purrple and there was green stuff pouring out it , gp removed the nail , they tried all types of dressing, they only found out on Tuesday that it needed anti boticis so hazels gp put me on them stright away she is very good. I have been given more painkillers as docs are puzzled why the osterarthritis is spreading so fast.
Hazel was also having an awful time before xmas , she was in hospital as her inmune system was very low, she was getting very weak her blood pressure was very low all the time. All the doctors were baffled as to why this was happening , it turned out it was due to one of epilepsy tablets interfering with her other tablets , since she as been of them all inmune systems have came back to normal . Hazel is also on more painkillers as her Fibromyaglia is getting worse.
My son is getting a lot of hazzle from his teachers about him not wearing his glasses all day in school, the opticain notice his sguint is back and his vison is off a bit , she asked him if he would like to fix his squint . He told her no. she said ok wear your glasses when you feel, you need them. Now we are waiting to get word from his surgeon when his op for his leg is going to happen, he is not looking foreword to that.
I think the last time I read your post on ac board you were having an operation done ? if I am right how did it go?????
Best wishes to you and hubby and family
