Operation looming !

Hi , I'm having my right ankle fused on 22nd Jan , read good and bad things but have little choice but to go ahead with it , Im not a suitable candidate for a replacement so this is my only option , anyway wish me luck and hopefully I can come on here a bit more when Im stuck at home getting better

Hope it goes uneventfully and your quality of life is better after.
You'll probably get hooked on the forum afterwards. I do when I am laid up from various bits of surgery. I have RA and lupus by the way.

Thank you all for your kind words, Ive had lots of ops on this leg (due to a motorbike crash 20 yrs ago) , but this one is is really getting to me
, I suppose its different because Ive got two daughters now (14 and 18)who are scared to death of me having it done
, I will post and let you know how I got on
