User Profiles

Hi folks,
As I'm just getting to know everyone on here, I usually read a posting and click on 'user profile' to find out a little about that person. I find this very helpful, especially when its someone perhaps with a similar age and lifestyle to me, that I can identify with :)

I was just wondering why so many folks haven't put any information on their personal profile :?: I know theres a couple of topics re 'introducing ourselves', which I have read, but I can't always remember who's who from day to day :D and the personal profile is a quick reminder :)

    I have noticed that too. I put it down to the fact that the peeps concerned do not wish to divulge any personal details about themselves.

    If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

    Yes, I thought the same as you, but I would love to see some more profiles - they don't have to be too specific :)

    See, I have just read your profile and feel akin to you - similar age, family, few interests (nice to see that this arthur thing doesn't take over your life completely!). :)

    hi,i used this site for a while before i worked out how to use it properly.
    profile,it only displays the information u wish to display i.e age,hobbies,conditions,interests,familiy.(click top page link)
    avator,for picture.(at bottom of pg)pick a picture
    i didnt fill it in for a while thinking name,address would appear but it doesn't.

    I always wondered why not many people did it. I think I thought they hadn't got time.

    Hi Jackie your spot on I've just done mine now, I think in the time we live not everyone wants to put to much info on web sites. I registerd on one last year it put my user name as my real name. Its a site i use offten i live with it but not happy. Cant change it because i would need to re register

    Hi folks,

    Thanks for leaving your profiles :)

    (Lets hope more add their profiles - and for anyone who is worried about revealing their true identity you only need to add a little bit about yourself - not reveal your name and address etc)
