Hi
Once again i need peeps advice.
I recieved a letter from my consultant regarding the results of my bone scan. In some ways it was good news as it showed nothing on my bones etc but the reason i am confused is he also said that it didnt show any inflamatory arthritis and would review this with me at my next appointment which is in March!!!!!!!!!!!
Does this mean i have not got PA or any other arthur? I am currently taking 20mg MTX i am so confused by it all and in so much pain stil. I had to take a day off work last week as i was so ill all my joints hurt my left hip was agony i could not get dressed and had been up all night in pain. all i wanted to do was sleep all day but the pain wouldnt let me. My big toe locks on me and my three fingers on my left hand sometimes lock my knees hurt when i walk upstairs. He said he thought i also had fibro when i last saw him in Oct does this cause these pains and aches or do people with PA suffer the same problems.
I feel such a fraud what if he doesnt believe the pain i am in and takes me off the meds i am so worried now this pain is real but all the tests i have show nothing HELP any advice
Michelle

    Oh Michelle
I wish I could tell you not to worry and you wouldn't, but you will whatever i say :( :!: I would too.
I agree so much with Scottishlass.
Metho is not given out lightly and you do need it.
Hopefully as she says this means it is preventing damage to your joints as it should be.
You are not a fraud and what is happening to you si real.
If it helps to 'do' something for now (I find is helps me) I would makes notes on my symptoms to take with me.
    Try to keep positive
    take care

    Hi
Thanks to you both for your kind replies. I have thought that surely if he didnt think i had arthur he would have asked to see me soon to take me of the MTX its just so frustrating i know i am in sooo much pain but cannot prove it but yes as you said on a positive note it means the MTX is working so does this mean most of my pain is now from Fibro?
I went shopping yesterday and had to sit down i had so much pain in my hips and base of back. after a long sit down and a nice cup of coffee i looked like a 70 yr old trying to get up and stand for pain. then all night if i stood up from the settee and tried to walk my hips ankles and knees were so stiff and took several steps before i could walk properly.
I have started to keep a diary from yesterday and i am going to take it with me am just panicking i think in case he stops my treatment and doesnt think i am that bad with the letter saying no signs of inflammotory arthuritis i just read this as though it meant no arthritis.
