I've noticed that my eyes seem really puffy when I get up - is this another sympton or just coincidence?

My fingers are like sausages, and sometimes my knee feels blown up too, which I can understand. But the face :?:

    Hi Jackie,

The puffy eyes are a new one to me, is this every morning or just a one off? It sounds more like an allergy rather than arthritis - or do you cry in your sleep without knowing

    Maybe others will know differently.

    Hello,

    Hi ladies,

Thanks for replies - Legs I don't think I cry in my sleep -
Majenta, I agree with you - I look [Removed by moderator] too lol

My puffiness seems to be the soft skin above and below my eyes - and to make it worse I bury my head in the pillow and end up with all sorts of lines and patterns on my face  Think I could do with a face-lift (er, no way would I do that really!)

Its just I've only noticed it last couple of weeks and wondered if its all linked to the arthur :(

    Hiya

I do get this sometimes - feels like I have hamster cheeks!

I always look really puffy around my eyes/cheeks when I wake up but it eases later on in the day.

But - I never mentioned it to my rheumy because he already believes it's all in my mind.
